When Sedona’s Cultural Park went bankrupt in 2004, it ended a four-year run of outstanding Sedona entertainment. Such A-List performers as Tony Bennett, Dave Brubeck and Willie Nelson brought both prestige and prosperity to the high desert Arizona community. Today, critics blame mismanagement and cockeyed optimism for the demise of the beautiful outdoor venue. Now the property is in escrow, and its potential new owners hope to bring back that famous Sedona entertainment that made the town’s cash registers ring and brought pleasure to thousands of people.
